Description
In short, I’m an easy going fellow who loves life, god, family, friends, dreams, blankets and stars. The long version is as follows. I have a passion and gift for phyics and math that, along with my faith, influences much of my life. I believe that science supports a wonder of and a small understanding of God in striving to understand the awesome complexity of God’s creation. I tend to be a somewhat independent, quiet person–though my friends mean more to me than I usually express to them. I grew up in a small town in Eastern Oregon where the sun shines in the summer and the snow falls in the winter and I still miss it when I’m away. I enjoy being active in hiking, camping, sports and other similar activities, and focus primarily on playing tennis and volleyball. Although a somewhat rational scientist, I believe I have a deeply creative side that I express in the creation of anything from artwork to programming to simply being spontaneous. I love to laugh though my sense of humor is drier than most, and I appreciate witty sarcasm. My passion for the stars and the universe has led me to pursue a career in astronomy or astrophysics, and I’m truly thrilled that this will hopefully be what I get to do for the rest of my life. I enjoy anything soft, especially blankets, that I can grip in my hands. To wrap this up I also enjoy the cold, intimate talks with friends, playing games of any type, milk, hot showers, the smell of rain on dry pavement, reading, and wood fireplaces.
